Alex Obradovic
Principal Physiotherapist, Owner
Alex joined Motion Theory Physio in March 2021 after working in the private musculoskeletal physiotherapy space and aged care physiotherapy sector.
He has been an integral part of the growth here at MTP and his passion and dedication led to his recent decision to join Gabe as co-owner of the clinic in September 2025.
Alex completed a Bachelor of Human Movement in 2017 and a subsequent Master of Physiotherapy in 2019 at the University of South Australia with a key interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy as well as headache/neck conditions and shoulder rehabilitation.
Alex was naturally led to a career in physiotherapy following his well-respected early career in pilates instructing and personal training. He has a keen interest in utilising human movement to rehabilitate and prevent injury.
Alex approaches physiotherapy with a strong emphasis on empathy and patient-centred care. By actively listening, he seeks to gain a deep understanding of each patient’s concerns, lifestyle, and individual needs. This allows him to guide patients in developing practical self-management strategies that support their long-term health goals.
Outside of MTP, Alex is disciplined in his own strength training and practices habits of a healthy lifestyle to keep himself energised and happy. He loves good food, quality time with his friends and family, mowing his lawn/tending to his garden and spending time with his beautiful wife.
